The month of June has had many memorable moments! It started with fun weekend with our dear friends Mike and Kim . We fondly refer to our visits as visits to the Perigard Bed and Breakfast! They have a lovely home that sits on the hood canal.

We started the weekend out with a trip to Victoria B.C. We have gone to Victoria for years with Mike and Kim. We started going over Valentines weekend because the dollar used to be strong that we could almost get such great deals. Hotels, dinner, horse and carriage rides through town. It was wonderful...but this was a day trip to Buchart Gardens, shopping and dinner at Milestones, our favorite restaurant!! It was a wonderful day!!

Next we embarked on a 30 mile bike ride from Squim to Port Angles. We rode 15 miles along the ocean. It was so scenic and beautiful , although my buttocks started to complain about 5 miles into the ride. Kim's recommendations have been duly noted....wear 2 pairs of padded bike shorts and get a bigger seat! We rode to Port Angeles and had lunch before gearing up and I do mean up.....the entire trip back was all up hill. I thought the trip there felt like it was all down hill....I was glad to see the car!!! But so excited and glad that we made the trip!! Fun day!!
We ended our bike adventure with a soothing dip in the hot tub!! Aw my buttocks was happy to get off the seat. But can't wait to do it again!!
We spent the other days of the weekend playing Settlers of Catan, spades, hearts, and eating!!
